In search of a Seattle MeFite to help me record a secret quonsar thank you song. My quonsar sent me a goddamned amazing musical instrument. So last night I wrote a song for it. I need to record it and get it up on metafilter as a proper thank you, but 1) I have no gear, and 2) even if I did have the gear, I have no place in the house that I can record without being trampled by screaming children.
So I'm looking for somebody in Seattle who can help me lay this thing down. I suck at said instrument but will try not to be too much of a perfectionist; still I'd like to record the instrument on its own track separate from the vocals. If you felt like adding any more instruments or vocals I'm totally game (I was thinking I'd post the original garageband/audicity/whatever format file up here so others could contribute as well if they felt like it). Would prefer a mefite for obvious reasons.
